Thanksgiving Day Shopping at CVS

Update: As I sat here reading this today, I realized that I also purchased the Sally Hansen Nail Polish and the Loreal Lip Juicer but I don't have it in my list below.


I have never shopped on Thanksgiving day before but I thought I would just head over and see if I could get any of the free stuff. Our store didn't open until 9am and amazingly I was the first person there!! I normally never do multiple transactions in one day but I talked to the cashier and about it and she assured me it was just fine. I didn't really have a plan, I didn't expect to get there and be able to get everything I wanted.

So here is my run down.

After I got home I realized that I had grabbed the wrong men's deodorant. I meant to grab the ones for 99cent and the ones I got cost $4.49. Also I was charged for 3 toothpastes and I only got 2. So back I went.

I returned the 3 deodorants and got my money back for the toothpaste.
I was given $7 and some change in cash and a gift card for $9.64

After returning the other items and purchasing these new items the new Original Total of purchases before taxes $123.06

Wow what a morning $123.06 plus tax worth of merchandise for $3 out of pocket and $8.46 in Extra Care Bucks for next week!
